This musical expression was conceived during the brink of the pandemics beginnings in 2020, right after my house was hit by the March tornado tragedy in Nashville. I was called to create something about connection and the need for connection when your significant other is switching up on you after being hit with in extreme force like a pandemic and a tornado all at the same time. Collide means hit with force when moving. Collide In Me is the force I call for when love is desired. This song is a whimsical journey of the heart, the body and the soul. It’s a wave of emotions and also a space where I wanted to acknowledge that my feelings are real and I’m in them. Let’s be in them together. It’s a composition that reflect the structure of a classical musical piece with several different movements but it’s R&B. Enjoy the vocal ecstasy. May it heal you to feel.
